Commercial Manager

UK Mail is one of the largest Postal Operators in the UK, with a logistics network spanning over 50+ sites. We offer a range of services including Parcels, Packets, Mail, Retail Logistics and Digital Communications. UK Mail Digital was launched in 2008 and has experienced significant year on year growth since launch.

A dynamic and innovative organisation, the UK Mail Digital team works in partnership with our clients to create and deliver technology to help grow and support their business. We don’t sell solutions, we fix customer problems. Some of the services we offer include Hybrid Mail, Print and Print Management, Cross Media, E-Substitution and Digital Transformation.

Due to our successful growth to date and ambitious growth targets an opportunity has been created for a Commercial Manager to UK Mail Digital’s commercial and administration functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage imail Administration function
  • To lead on the Commercial elements of Tender/Bids
  • General UK Mail Digital price increase
  • Managing/amending pricing on all imail websites & Opsys
  • Setup and management of rate cards
  • Setup and administration of P&Ls  for all UK Mail Digital Products
  • Billing of NPD of adhoc revenue which can’t be processed via standardised pricing
  • To own the profiling, downloading and reporting of B2C and B2B data requirements
  • Support Management and Sales with completion of RTRs and termination forms
  • Manage commercial relationship with 3rd party print providers
  • To lead on reconciliation process with Finance and IT support
  • Being the departments champion for GDPR & ISO27001 attending regular webinars and seminars
  • To own the profiling, downloading and billing of data services
  • Another other reasonable request from Management.

 Key Qualities

  • Proven track record of successful commercial and administration process implementations
  • Strong Excel and data analytics skills
  • strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with differing departments
  • Experience in balancing and managing competing demands
  • A good understanding of the customer sales cycle
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders both internal and external
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-Motivated and driven with creative and entrepreneurial flair.
  • Experience of working in a high performance results driven environment
  • A keen eye for detail and impeccable organisation skills.
  • Experience in completing tenders is desirable however not compulsory.
